Stephanie Markese and Ashley Jarocki of NextPath Career Partners sit down with Dr. Abby Hamilton this week to talk about speaking up in a professional environment. Dr. Abby is a Filipino-American industrial/organizational psychologist and speaker on assertiveness and culture. She is also the Director of Student Services at Everglades University in Tampa. She has educated and trained in leadership for over 20 years and spent the past 12 years coaching professionals to advance in their careers and the workplace. Dr. Abby is also the Principal Scientist at EQMatch focusing on emotional intelligence assessment and the Vice President of the National Association of Asian American Professionals – Tampa chapter. Dr. Abby and her husband Mark have raised their three children: Taylor, Christopher, and Ryan in the Tampa Bay area, where they are leaders in the Filipino-American community.
