6’7 Ben McDonald was a standout basketball and baseball legend in Louisiana. Ben played hoops and pitched at LSU and was the first overall pick in the 1989 MLB Draft. He helped the USA Olympic team win Gold at the Olympics in South Korea. So much pressure was put on Big Ben and he tells how he tried to handle it. Ben’s got incredible stories, especially the one with Cal Ripken Jr. Ben is currently the color analyst on TV for Baltimore Orioles games. He’s a father that’s coached his kids teams and has some great advice for all of us.
