I was a bit chagrined to hear you two talking about the virtual certainty that the building collapse in Surfside was a ‘planned’ event. There are plenty of reasons a building built on sand in a notorious sinkhole state could fail, not the least among them is that an unscrupulous (and/or ignorant) contractor, failed to properly grade the pool deck area, leading to concrete failure under the pool and the parking garage, etc. Please, let us explore some of the mundane, yet less exciting, possibilities of human failures whilst we wish for congruency. I think you do your audience a disservice by climing on to the conspiracy theories right off the bat.

The building was built in the 1980s. How many hurricanes has it withstood in that time? Buildings don’t just fall down 400 yards from Ivanka Trump’s house.
