With the BCS Playoffs set, there are a lot of happy fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide…..the Clemson Tigers…..the Ohio State Buckeyes….and the Washington Huskies???? How’d they make it?????
The Babe knew exactly who she had to talk about the Huskies and that is her old friend “The Groz” Dave Grosby. He co-hosts middays on 710 ESPN (KIRO-AM) in Seattle with his partners Bob Stelton and Tom Wassell and is Seattle’s longest running sports talk host. In other words, the dude knows his stuff.
He gets The Babe caught up on all things Huskies football, tells her just how they ended up where they are today, and answers the question, “Do they stand a chance in Hell of beating Alabama????”
Also, The Babe talks about the huge MLB trade between the two Sox (the Red Sox & White Sox) that saw her Boston Red Sox acquire one of the best pitchers in the game as well as sharing a story about former NFL RB and 1994 Heisman Trophy winner Rashaan Salaam, who was found dead at the age of 42 in Chicago.
