On today’s show, the guys talk about the passing of Marlins starting pitcher Jose Fernandez. The 24 year old pitcher died in a boating accident early Sunday morning. Everyone knows he had a larger than life personality but what will his legacy be? Kevin and Rich share their thoughts and memories of Fernandez.
On a lighter note, the guys also talk about Vin Scully’s last game at Dodger Stadium. Kevin was there and talks about the atmosphere and the ceremony to celebrate the incredible career of the 88 year old legend.
Finally, the guys ask if the Nationals were right to be upset by the Pirates fake tag and what runs through a third base coach’s mind when he is deciding to send a runner home or hold him at third.
