** Tonight’s show is dedicated to Officer Eric Mumaw of the Nashville Police Department. An officer, a colleague, a friend. **
Officer Eric Mumaw of the Nashville Police Department drowned last week in the Cumberland River attempting to help a suicidal woman who had driven into the river. The woman, Julie Glisson, survived the suicide attempt and has since been charged in the death of the fallen officer.
It was hardly the first time that he’d risked his life in the line of duty. Unfortunately, it was the last.
As you know, Vincent is a former Nashville police officer so this hits extremely close to home. He knew Officer Mumaw personally. This week, he recounts stories about his colleague and friend.
