Today’s show is about Hurricane Helene and raising awareness for those who are completely stranded and trapped in Western NC/Eastern TN. There is a blackout of information, and folks are needing to rely on social media to attempt to contact loved ones and get information and help to the people who need it. Please send prayers, share information on social media, and donate to reputable organizations if you can to help the people gravely affected by this tragedy. The best place to go for links to all discussed today is Tracy Beanz’ X page.

Thank you so much for providing information on our plight in East Tennessee. I am fortunate in Jonesborough, TN but my neighbors in Greeneville and Erwin suffered catastrophic damage and loss of life. Greeneville was entirely shut-off with bridge collapses. They have a road in and out open now but the big problem is that their main water pumping station was destroyed – the entirety of Greene county is without water and will be for at least a week probably more. Erwin is where the Unicoi Hospital is at where they had to evacuate people from the roof by helicopter. There is a plastic factory down there where a lot of people lost their life. Also, and you won’t hear about this on the news, Nuclear Fuel Services is in Erwin as well. They said they only suffered minor damage and were scaling back operations. If that facility had been badly damaged enough we would have had Fukushima 2.0 here. My wife and I are working through the church to help with cleanup. My sister owns a restaurant and is feeding people. We are the Volunteer state and will help our neighbors. We don’t need Biden. There’s a reason we’re a solid red state. Anyway, thank you so much for getting the word out.
