The Borges family have been providing sleigh and carriage rides for five decades. Just like in NYC and other areas around the country, there is now an outcry to ban them, and a petition circulating in Lake Tahoe. This is a philosophical, ideologic, emotional outcry. Time and again, animal professionals and experts indicate the horses are fine and have parameters to work within.
