Krush Performance: Season Wrap Up – Talent & The Krush Brain Game #4 – Stewart Armstrong

KP - PHOTO FOR RI SHOWIs it possible that our kids are spending less time outside than prison inmates? The answer to this will alarm you!

The area in which we play and roam is shrinking by the year and for our kids, it could very well be restricting their development. The environment and the influence it will have on your growth and development may be more powerful than we realize. If so, then how does a lack of free play and a shrinking general radius of play impact our ability to learn, adapt, and function in sport and in the real world of life?

It’s an important topic that gets very little consideration. With the greatest of intentions are we hindering the development of our youth, our athletes, and ourselves?

This week on Krush Performance, we talk with Stewart Armstrong, Skill Acquisition and Talent Development Expert and host of The Talent Equation Podcast, to discuss athlete development, coaching, and why it is so critical to just let our kids play.
