Christmas is over, the New Year is right around the corner, and it’s time for another episode of Inside The Dugout! We kick the show off discussing the great story of Arizona Diamondback Pavin Smith and his present to his folks this week and talk about minor leagues going on their own for the first time. Kevin tells us what almost kept him from getting promoted to Double A and Rich tells about Josh Hamilton’s early years in pro ball.
The guys talk about Houston Astros’ first base coach Rich Dauer and his close call at the team’s Championship Parade (thanks to Ken Rosenthal for the story). They also break down Billy Hamilton and whether he fits in SF and the Orioles’ getting calls on Manny Machado
Also, the guys discuss what they did for Christmas and Kevin and Rich talk a little BBQ. Kevin is a gas griller and Rich is a Kamado cooker. All of this and more this week Inside the Dugout!
