On today’s podcast, it’s all about the League Championship Series that are going on between the Cubs/Dodgers and the Indians/Blue Jays.
We talk about Games 1 and 2 of NLCS and the way the managers worked the game, Adrian Gonzalez’s homer, and Javier Baez’ incredible double play. We also talk about how games are called, the work of the catchers involved, and how they can hurt their pitcher behind the plate.
We then move on to the American League where the Tribe may be in trouble because of the loss of Trevor Bauer in Game 3. He left the game in the first inning with the open wound and blood dripping down his hand from an accident before the game with his drone. How much of an impact will this have on the series and Cleveland’s pitching staff?
