The American mustang is a living legend; an American icon and true native American. The wild horses of America illicit a strong emotional response from people, and for many they symbolize freedom. Diane Delano fell in love with American mustangs over 40 years ago. For decades she has operated a non-profit, the wild horse rescue center. She finds homes for her beloved horses, provides training and respite, and for some, lifetime sanctuary. Listen in to hear her about her amazing mission, and also the difficult plight of the wild herds in the United States.
