Tonight’s show had a central running theme, man-made disasters. We looked at three of them.
1 – Fukushima nuclear power disaster 4 years old and still nowhere near containable.
2 – The methane gas still in California and it looks like it will be months before they can shut that down.
3 – The continuing increase in earthquakes caused by ‘fracking’, hydraulic fracturing in our country what do all 3 have in common? Energy production, It’s time to say goodbye to the past and hello to the future, get our proverbial heads out of our butts and start thinking sustainability. solar, wind, biofuels like algae and hemp, geothermal, tidal power.
