Matt Sydal, formerly WWE’s Evan Bourne, is a pioneer in the pro wrestling industry and is quite possibly a guy who came a long a little before his time. Having made his debut in 2000, Matt has worked for every major organization in the world, including Impact Wrestling, WWE, ROH, NJPW, PWG, and others. He came up in the business with the likes of AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and countless others and recently worked in Japan with WWE NXT’s newest superstar signee, Ricochet.
Today, David Penzer sits down with Sydal to chat about where he love for the business began, where he began, working in ROH early on in his career, working in Japan, his WrestleMania moment in the “Money In The Bank” match in 2010, winning the WWE Tag Team titles with Kofi Kingston, PWG, Impact Wrestling, his role as a teacher at the WWN Pro Wrestling Training School South, and much more.
