Yards & Stripes: Former Army HC Bobby Ross

This week, Price Atkinson is joined by former Army head coach Bobby Ross who talks about his time serving as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army and how special it was for him to return to West Point as their head football coach. He also chats about the storied history of Army football and the traditions that he tried to carry on, the impact the Iraq War on the program and how it was more difficult to rebuild during that time as opposed to his time coaching at The Citadel during the Vietnam War, coaching against Air Force’s Fisher DeBerry, and so much more.

Price also hands out his game ball from last week, recaps the games, and looks ahead to this weekend’s matchups as Army and Air Force head to the Big Ten while Navy gets the week off.

Plus, Price wraps up this week’s podcast with “Faces Of The Fallen” honoring a former Navy men’s lacrosse standout killed in the line of duty September 21, 2010 in Afghanistan.
