Yards & Stripes: Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo and Army beat writer Sal Interdonato

On this episode of Yards and Stripes: Service Academy Football, Price Atkinson is joined by Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo and Army beat writer for the Times Herald-Record Sal Interdonato.

Now before the interviews, Price gives you an update on what’s going on with the Air Force, Army, and Navy football programs. All three programs are in full preparations for their first game and Price tells you how things are looking for all three teams.

Then Price welcomes in Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo to discuss his football team heading into this season. They discuss the lost to Army last season, safety Alohi Gillman’s decision to transfer, Showtime show, quarterback Zach Abey, and his preparations for their first game against Florida Atlantic.

Following the conversation with Niumatalolo, Sal Interdonato of the Times Herald-Record joins Price to discuss the upcoming season for Army. They discuss the win by Army over Navy last year, what defections did Army have this summer, and what’s Army key game on their schedule outside of Navy and Air Force games.
